I kick-started my Monday with horror!I dreaded to think how much longer I must pocket a smile with this man, while my colleagues seemed to be gloated over my hard luck –damn!
My face stiffened. The situation almost made me queasy as my surrounding around me spur around and around and around… He didn’t talk sense yet nonsense for almost half an hour and I had no excuse apart from that I had turned into a complete bore.
I just didn’t have the energy to keep up with him any longer… But then, in a narrow squeak, my knight in shining armor (though I’m definitely not a princess) suddenly appeared as I was required to do some paperwork –at last I had the excuse of being swamped with given task…alleluia!!!
